Pues es bien simple. Lo primero que tenemos que hacer es instalar lo siguiente:

:~$ sudo apt-get install update-manager-core

Una vez instalado hacemos lo siguiente:

:~$ sudo do-release-upgrade

Y listo, esperamos hasta que termine de descargar y empiece a actualizar. Una vez que empiece a actualizar, talvéz será necesario responder algunas preguntas sencillas.
